From September 3rd to 6th, 2026, Avenches will host one of the most anticipated events in European equestrian sport : the Longines EEF Series Final, an international show jumping competition that brings together the best young talents and their horses from all over Europe. Held at the prestigious National Equestrian Institute of Avenches, this final promises several days of top-level sporting spectacle, enhanced by a friendly atmosphere where equestrian enthusiasts and lovers of fine dining mingle around the arena.
Between events, the public also enjoys a real moment of conviviality, with gourmet stands, food areas and meeting places where people take the time to chat over a drink, away from the hustle and bustle of the stands.
Maison Massy in the bars and VIP area
It is in this exceptional setting that La Maison Massy will be setting up shop for several days, in collaboration with other renowned Swiss winemakers. Several hundred bottles will be delivered on-site to supply all the bars and VIP areas of the event, where a dedicated stand will allow guests to discover our wines in optimal service conditions. In the VIP area, our Grand Cru wines will be featured, alongside other prestigious Swiss wines, while our terroir-driven wines will accompany more relaxed moments at the bar.
This type of event is particularly important for La Maison Massy: it’s an opportunity to showcase Lavaux far beyond the shores of Lake Geneva, to connect with an audience that may not yet be familiar with our wines, and to share with them the expertise of a family-run winery where every step remains 100% homemade. Each bottle served on-site tells a little story of our vineyards, four generations of work, and a shared commitment to quality, to visitors who sometimes travel from afar to follow the competition.
Cinq crus de Lavaux à découvrir
Five wines from our estate will be on the menu during the event, starting with Epesses La Crosse, a Chasselas full of freshness that embodies the mineral finesse of our hillsides facing the lake, ideal to accompany the long sunny afternoons between two rounds.
Alongside it, the Epesses Crêt-Bailli will bring a more fleshy touch, this characterful red expanding the range of enthusiasts present at the stand and appealing to those looking for a more assertive structure.
The great wines of Lavaux will also be well represented, starting with the Dézaley Chemin de Fer, the emblematic Chasselas of the appellation, whose very particular minerality originates from a steep terroir shaped over centuries.
We will also be serving Clos du Boux, from our historic plot built in 1630, a true 1.7 hectare gem nestled in the heart of Epesses.
And finally the Dézaley Chemin de Terre , a red blend of Merlot and Gamay that seduces with its depth and structure, a rare vintage that often surprises palates accustomed to the white wines of the appellation.
Five different expressions of the same terroir, brought together for the occasion and ready to take visitors’ taste buds on a journey between the stands and the aisles of the event.
