Our Gamay from this production area is used exclusively in this Epesses – Crêt-Bailli. Prolonged cuvage and maceration for two weeks after fermentation give it structure and color, which are further developed by barrel ageing. The nose is dominated by berries. The attack is supple, and the palate is well rounded and pleasant, with hints of red fruit and spice. The discreet tannins blend with a vigor and freshness that herald good years of cellaring.
